Clark County Programs for Justice

Clark County, acting as the fiscal agent for the disparate jurisdictions consisting of Clark County and the City of Las Vegas will utilize the FY 23 local JAG award to fund the Clark County Programs for Justice. In Clark County, local justice and law enforcement systems face a myriad of crime-related issues. The county seeks ways to divert both youth and adults from becoming engaged in the justice system. As the county population continues to grow at a rapid pace, JAG resources will be used to enhance services and reduce the pressures on overburdened law enforcement and court systems, while improving community safety and security in the long-term.
