City of Albany FY2023 JAG - Local Solicitation

The City of Albany Police Department (APD) has reviewed the FY2023 JAG program guidance and will utilize its allocation of $80,015 on officer operational overtime expenses for the APD’s School Dismissal Program & Violent Crime Suppression Program, and for the purchase of Emergency Response and Command Center equipment, in furtherance of APD's School Dismissal Program and its Violent Crime Suppression Initiative. Specifically, the equipment will be Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) (3 wall-mounted and 3 portable units) and SMART Boards / Interactive Display Systems of varying sized (4 will be wall-mounted and 3 will be portable / wheeled-unit mounted).
