The disparate jurisdictions of Newark and Licking County will use JAG funds for technology improvements and equipment. The City of Newark, Division of Police will use JAG funds to help purchase new redaction software for its body worn cameras and in-car cameras in order to improve efficiency of operation. The Licking County Sheriff will purchase gas masks and accessories for the SWAT team to improve officer safety.
