Toledo/Lucas County Justice Assistance Grant

The disparate jurisdictions of Lucas County and City of Toledo will use JAG funds for equipment purchases, technology, and services.  Specifically, City of Toledo will use JAG funds to purchase 228 body armor carriers.  Lucas County will use JAG funds to support the use of Tasers by renewing the annual subscription and to support their crime database by renewing the annual online subscription.  The Criminal Justice Coordinating Council (CJCC) has been designated by the above jurisdictions to provide oversight of administering and monitoring JAG funds.  CJCC will contract with local agencies to provide services that meet community priorities.
