Police Department Computer I.T. Division

The Central Falls Police Department intents to use JAG funds for technology improvements by up-grading equipment within our police IT department. The goal to purchase (1) memory upgrades 8GB to provide workstations with a much-needed upgrade in memory and storage capabilities. (2) Replace outdated computers with most current available units to ensure that all desktops within our agency are compatible of having the ability to access internal and network resources. (3) Purchase USB DVDA drives that will help our agency make it easy to view, manage files and help in sharing folders within our network. (4) Purchase Uni-FI Wireless Access Point that will allow for extended Wi-Fi access to allow for our police MDT's to be updated and or repaired. (5) Purchase UPS Power units to ensure that all workstations are protected for power surges and or power failures. (6) Purchase SONICWALL TZ Essential Protection Suite that will ensure that our department, devices and systems are protected from threats, virus and or any intrusions.
