Technology Improvement and K9 Unit Expansion

The City of Rock Hill will use JAG funds to expand the Rock Hill Police Department’s K9 Unit and purchase equipment. Specifically, the City of Rock Hill will use JAG funds to purchase LIDAR units for traffic enforcement and mobile surveillance cameras for public safety at major events. JAG funds will also be used to purchase a dual purpose K9 police dog that will be trained for patrol and narcotics detection.
