Digital Identification Software Project

The City of Bristol will use the JAG funds to purchase a license for facial recognition software for the Bristol Tennessee Police Department. Facial recognition software will help with the identification and prosecution of criminal suspects. This will help the police department improve case clearance rates, accurately and rapidly identify violent criminals, investigate crimes, enhance public safety, provide justice to victims, and better serve their citizens.
