Description of original award (Fiscal Year 2023, $128,675)

The city of Amarillo and Potter County are disparate jurisdictions that will utilize the FY 23 local JAG award to acquire various law enforcement equipment. The Amarillo Police Department will use its portion of grant funds to purchase industrial fan for the firing range. The Potter County Sheriff's Office will purchase gear to better prepare its patrol deputies, SROs and tactical team to perform their daily duties.
