Introduction

El Paso County, Texas and the City of El Paso, Texas are jointly applying for the FY 2023 Edward Byrne Justice Assistance Grant (JAG) Program – Local Solicitation for various projects BJA FY 2023 Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant Program – Local Solicitation

under category 2 with an eligible allocation amount of $25,000 or more. The El Paso County Sheriff’s Office, the El Paso County District Attorney’s Office and the El Paso Police Department will enhance their public safety efforts with supplies and equipment requests.

El Paso County, including the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office (EPCSO), the El Paso County District Attorney’s Office (DA), and the City of El Paso Police Department (EPPD) have entered into a Interlocal Agreement to support each other’s agency within a broad range of law enforcement and criminal justice systems. Jointly, these agencies are requesting a total of $202,958.
