Description of original award (Fiscal Year 2023, $447,239)

The City of Austin and Travis County will address crime through evidence-based programming and practices, and will improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the criminal justice system. All funds will be purposed for public safety equipment (tire deflation devices and less lethal options) and training that will improve and enhance local law enforcement programs.
