Campbell County Sheriff’s Office (CCSO) intends to use the JAG funds for law enforcement equipment. CCSO will purchase shields to be used by the special response team. CCSO intends to purchase shotguns and bean bag rounds to support less lethal operations. This equipment purchased will protect community members by enabling the lowest use of force responses first and will improve officer safety when responding to high-risk incidents.
