FFY 2023 Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant Program - Local Solicitation for Spotsylvania County, VA

Under the FFY 2023 Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant Program – Local Solicitation, Spotsylvania County is eligible to receive $21,692.  The Sheriff’s Office would like to utilize $11,500 for needed equipment and supplies for the Criminal Investigations Division consisting of two computers for storing and viewing phone dumps; one digital scope for searching for bullets within walls; one workstation for fingerprint powder evidence; two crime scene sifters; and associated supplies for cell phone investigations. The Commonwealth Attorney’s Office would like to utilize the remaining $10,192 for an enhanced courtroom computer, associated accessories, and tablets.
