Portsmouth Police Department (PPD) will use JAG 2023 category 2 funding to provide funding for equipment, supplies and technology initiatives that will improve the Portsmouth Police Department’s ability to respond to public safety incidents within the city.
Additionally, the funds will be used to support the various Drug Court Treatment programs such as drug testing, education, office supplies, drug treatment and program support within the Circuit Court.
