FY2023 JAG - City of Milwaukee Joint Allocation

The City of Milwaukee will serve as the fiscal agent for FY23 Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant Program and administer the grant on behalf of the Cities of Milwaukee and West Allis and Milwaukee County. Funding for all units of local government will be used to pursue investigative and criminal justice activities as guided by a local Memorandum of Understanding (MOU). The MOU will be submitted as part of the grant award process. The allocation of FY23 JAG funds among each agency includes $21,315 for City of West Allis, $456,161 for Milwaukee County, and $571,317 for City of Milwaukee for a total amount of $1,048,793. Each local government will follow its jurisdictional procedures to determine and prioritize funding needs based on the locally agreed allocation in accordance with JAG statutory program areas. The City of Milwaukee will review selected projects to ensure JAG compliance, monitor reimbursement requests, issue payment, and complete federal reporting.
