2023 Raleigh County Sheriff (WV) Byrne Memorial JAG Grant

The County of Raleigh (WV) will use JAG funds to purchase needed equipment for the Raleigh County Sheriff’s Office. Included in the equipment will be up to date radar units for the road patrol division, equipment and supplies for the training division to conduct simulated live fire training using patrol rifles, mounting hardware for night vision equipment for use by the SRT Unit and training and K-9 tracking equipment for the K-9 Unit. These purchases will help to train and equip deputies for a more effective response to varying situations.
