Lake County State's Attorney's Office Innovative Prosecution Solutions

The Lake County State’s Attorney’s Office (LCSAO) Cyber Lab that resides within its Cyber/White Collar Crimes Division, supports the efforts of local and state law enforcement in criminal investigations involving electronic devices, as well as provides technological support to all divisions of the Office. The main goals of the Innovative Prosecution Solutions (IPS) project is to reduce violent crime in Lake County by continuing to support the enhancement of the LCSAO’s ability to respond efficiently to criminal investigations brought forth by its law enforcement partners through use of improved technology/equipment and specialized staff who can better analyze video evidence, as well as, improve efficiency and transparency in how the LCSAO’s office prosecutes cases with the support of a data analyst.
