The city of Oneida Police Department will utilize grant funding to enhance critical elements addressed in BJA’s Violent Crime Reduction Operations Guide and supplement existing operations implemented with funding previously awarded to the Oneida City Police in 2021 through the Rural Violent Crime Reduction Initiative. Funding will be used for critical elements such as personnel costs associated with training, enforcement, and engagement details within hot spot areas identified by analysis. Financial support will be used for environmental and technological improvements fortifying personnel expenditures to expand impact.
