Atwater Police Department Protective Equipment Project

City of Atwater Law Enforcement Equipment Grant:

The Atwater Police Department intends to use this grant to purchase supplemental body armor primarily ballistic helmets. The Department has identified the need to upgrade the ballistic helmets provided to law enforcement first responders. The current equipment is over 10 years old and has approached the end of its useful life. This grant will supplement local funding to provide first responders with the latest ballistic helmet protection.
