2023 JAG GRANT

The El Monte Police Department will utilize its JAG-2023 allocation to provide 200 hours of officer overtime during the grant period to supplement the Special Investigations Team (SIT) operations and investigations. The goals are to provide supplemental law enforcement services to support the community policing programs of the Department. The proposed activities include but are not limited to: 1) narcotics investigations; 2) gang investigations; 3) anti-prostitution operations/stings; 4) special projects (motel enforcement); and 5) homeless outreach and mitigation.
