City of West Hollywood Parks Safety Patrols

The City of West Hollywood Park Security Program utilizes Los Angeles County Sheriff’s personnel to provide overtime, targeted patrols in the City’s parks targeting key times and problems.  The objective of the program is to deter criminal activity, to make arrests, and assist City personnel and park patrons with neighborhood livability issues.  These objectives are measured by examining crime statistics, code citations, and conducting focus groups and/or key informant interviews with park patrons and City staff.
