2020 Edward Byrne Memorial JAG Grant

The City of Albuquerque and the County of Bernalillo propose will use JAG funds for programs and projects to address the most pressing needs of the City and County while maintaining focus on the long-term impact. JAG funds will support a variety of law enforcement efforts by the Albuquerque Police Department (APD) and Bernalillo County Sheriff's Office (BCSO) and provide vital funding. Specifically, the City of Albuquerque will use JAG funds to purchase a mobile surveillance trailer, laptops, ballistic vests, and a license plate recognition system. Bernalillo County will use JAG funds for humane remote restraint devices.

This award is funded as an administrative funding adjustment of 2020-DJ-BX-0788.
