Drug and Substance Analyzer

The Sumter Police Department requests authorization to use available Opioid Funds for critical Fentanyl, Xylazine, Heroin, other Opioids and drug interdiction technology.

As the first line of interdicting opioids and drugs coming into the City of Sumter, we are requesting to purchase Opioid Assessment Kits for fast, accurate and cost-effective detection and identification.  Our agency currently does not have viable opioid or drug detection technology readily available to all officers.
