Evidence Collection Vehicle

The Police Department requests funding for an Evidence Collection Vehicle for the Bureau of Crime Investigation (BCI). This vehicle will provide the department with the latest technology and equipment available for evidence collection.  The current evidence van is over twenty years old and requires replacement.  The BCI unit responds daily to all forensic investigations throughout the city as well as assisting local law enforcement agencies when required.  Additionally, this vehicle will assist the Mayor in his goals of building upon the becoming the best run city in the country and building safe and healthy neighborhoods by keeping the crime levels down.
