Law Enforcement Air Support and Bomb Response Equipment

The City of Omaha and Omaha Police Department (OPD) will modernize air support and bomb response equipment to improve officer safety, equipment reliability, and mutual aid capabilities. The OPD Air Support Unit and Bomb Response Squad serve as regional assets, providing timely, reliable, and specialized assistance to neighboring jurisdictions in the larger Omaha-Council Bluffs metropolitan area and local, state, and federal law enforcement partners.
