Gallatin Police Department Vehicle Acquisition Project

The Gallatin Police Department requests funding to assist with equipping our current park ranger program with fully equipped patrol pickup trucks. These vehicles would enable the rangers to carry all their needed equipment with them while on patrol. 

Currently the department has several high mileage units it conducts park patrols with and these units have diffculty carrying the rangers needed equipment, such as bicycles. As the park rangers are an integral part of the department's partnership with the citizens of the city, it is of great importance to modernize and improve the capabilities of the rangers.
