Camera and Facility Technology Upgrades

The Town of Derry, NH proposes to implement camera and facility technology upgrades through a comprehensive video recording system for both the police department and the officers.  The system will consist of a full allotment of body-worn cameras, in-car video systems for the entire patrol fleet and a recording system for interview rooms. The primary objective of this project is to enhance transparency and accountability in law enforcement interactions, thereby reducing the number of complaints against officers and fostering public trust in the police department.
