The University of Charleston proposes to implement the Law Enforcement Leadership Training Program. Project activities include delivering a leadership training program for 300 members of the law enforcement community. Expected outcomes include enhanced skills for law enforcement personnel in the areas of communication, diversity awareness, conflict management and public trust. The goal is to provide members of the law enforcement community with the leadership skills to build productive relationships within the community, to better assist victims of crime and to promote positive change in the organizational culture of law enforcement departments and agencies across the state.
