Police Department Equipment

The City of Belfast Police Department proposes to implement a project known as Police Department Equipment. The purpose of this project is for the City of Belfast Police Department to acquire, install/setup, and utilize a number of pieces of equipment that will allow the department to better meet the basic needs of the residents and businesses within the City of Belfast. Project activities include the acquisition and installation/setup of a number of pieces of equipment to be utilized by City of Belfast Police Department, in its current facility and/or in a future planned City of Belfast Public Safety Building. Expected outcomes include an increased ability of the City of Belfast Police Department to meet the basic needs of the residences and businesses. The service area for this project is anticipated to be primarily the City of Belfast, and secondarily the surrounding midcoast region, with the intended beneficiaries being both the residents and businesses of this service area. No subrecipient activities under this project are anticipated.
