Greene County's proposal, the Greene County Adult Drug Treatment Court (ADTC) Enhancement Project, aims to empower the ADTC with the necessary resources to enhance capacity, expand services, and widen access to evidence-based recovery treatment services for participants in Greene County. The project encompasses various activities, including hiring a full-time Drug Court Case Manager, introducing a driving under the influence specific track, ensuring compliance with best practice standards, incorporating Risk and Needs Assessment Triage (RANT PLUS) for better risk assessment, providing support for critical treatment services, enhancing access to recovery support and basic necessities, and offering increased peer support through Certified Recovery Specialists. Expected outcomes include increased operational capacity, enhanced operations consistent with both the national All Rise Adult Drug Court Best Practice Standards and local best practice standards for hybrid Adult Drug Treatment Courts that offer a driving under the influence specific track, guaranteeing program integrity, participant compliance, and reduced stigma of recovery by implementing evidence-based practices aligned with best standards, ensuring accurate and accountable progress monitoring, and providing essential resources to expand access to evidence-based recovery treatment services and peer support, aiming to achieve long-term recovery, decrease recidivism, and prevent overdose deaths.
