Enhance Current Tribal Healing to Wellness Court program.

The Coushatta Tribal Healing to Wellness Court is a post-adjudication court, located on the Reservation at the Coushatta Court Building. Presently the tribe is completing its fourth year of Healing to Wellness Court with the current number of individuals being served at seven, with expected growing numbers yearly. The purpose of this proposal is to enhance the capacity and service delivery of the existing Healing to Wellness Court with special emphasis on providing intensive, evidence-based services. The target population is adult, enrolled tribal members who rate as high-risk/high-need offenders.
