The Office of Victim Services and Justice Grants (OVSJG) is the State Administering Agency (SAA) for Byrne Justice Assistance Grant (Byrne JAG) formula funding allocated to the District of Columbia (District). The mission of the Office of Victim Services and Justice Grants (OVSJG) is to develop, fund, and coordinate programs that improve public safety; enhance the administration of justice; and create systems of care for crime victims, youth, and their families in the District. With the total funding amount $1,412,686.00 (Administration: $141,269.00 and sub-grants: $1,271,417. OVSJG will use the sub-grant funds to fund community-based organizations in the following purpose areas: corrections and community corrections programs, specifically reentry services.
