Victoria Law Enforcement Investigation and Officer Safety Enhancement Project

The disparate jurisdictions of the City of Victoria and Victoria County will use JAG funds for technology improvements and equipment.   Specifically, Victoria County will use JAG funds to enhance officer and public safety utilizing LiDar’s and taser cartidges. The City of Victoria will utiltize JAG funds to purchase technology enhancements for enhanced officer and public safety by addressing potential threats, prevent criminal activity, and monitor critical areas across the city through the addition of large wall-mounted and desktop computer monitors.
