Equitable Law Enforcement: Advancing Technology for Fair and Safe Services

The city of Paragould will use JAG funds to purchase nine (9) Panasonic Toughbook 55 laptops for patrol units to ensure that officers are able to effectively access real-time data, analytics, electronic ticketing, and maps/GPS. Updated, state-of-the-art technology is essential for officers to respond to calls efficiently and correctly, thus building trust between law enforcement and those they are sworn to protect by establishing and reinforcing credibility.
