Proposal Abstract

The Searcy Police Department is seeking funding for the purchase of one in-car camera be installed in its K-9 vehicle, to support its new K-9 unit that is currently being established. The purpose is to enable the officer to record incidents and interactions with the public and will lead to increased officer safety, improved transparency with the public, and more documentations for investigations. Having the camera in the K-9 unit camera will benefit both the department and its officers but also the public.
