FAIRFIELD COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE SAFETY PROJECT

The Fairfield County Sheriff Office (FCSO) is applying for funds from the Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant (JAG) program FY 2024 Local Solicitation in order to fund a project titled FY 2024 JAG Grant Law Enforcement Project. The amount of funds allocated for the application is $10,765. The project goal of the FY 2024 JAG Grant Law Enforcement Project is to improve and enhance local law enforcement programs by supplementing the ability of the FCSO to purchase law enforcement equipment and supplies.

The strategies to be used to meet the goal of the FY 2024 JAG Grant Law Enforcement Equipment Project are as follows: to purchase equipment for road patrol deputies for evidence collection purposes for the FCSO. The items being purchased are five Dell laptops.
