Lemon Grove Foot and Bicycle Patrol Program & Law Enforcement Equipment

The City of Lemon Grove is submitting an application to request funding from the Department of Justice (DOJ) for the Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant (JAG) Fiscal Year (FY) 2024 to purchase law enforcement equipment, including Bluetooth microphones and E-Bikes, fund bicycle maintenance, bicycle patrol training, and personnel wages for Sheriff Deputies to conduct proactive, directed bicycle and foot patrol operations by the San Diego Sheriff’s Department, Lemon Grove Sub-station to improve the safety and well-being of residents and visitors of the City of Lemon Grove.
