FY24 Edward Byrne Grant

The North Adams Police Department, as the organizational unit on behalf of the City of North Adams, has been allocated $11,636.00 in grants funds on behalf of the BJA FY 24 Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant (JAG) Program Local Solicitation. If awarded, this funding will be used to purchase equipment to upfit the technology within the Police Department community room. The community room is used to host internal police trainings, as well as community trainings such as, but not limited to, the Citizen’s Police Academy, Regional Emergency Planning Committee (REPC), Massachusetts Interlocal Insurance Association (MIIA), Department of Fire Services and Department of Public Works.
