Traffic Enforcement & Officer Preparedness

The Mankato Department of Public Safety will use grant funds to enhance firearms training effectiveness and officer preparedness through the integration of advanced target systems, specifically the MotoShot Robot and Tactical Target Systems. The items purchased with grant funding will ensure that our agency operates in a manner that provides the best service to the community we serve. The Blue Earth County Sheriff will utilize grant funds to improve safety and overall service to the community by purchasing a Speed Awareness Monitor (SAM) trailer.
