Description of original award (Fiscal Year 2024, $25,101)

Flathead County will use JAG funds to provide level III stab and spike panel protection for detention officers during high risk calls where improvised weapons may be encountered, level III ballistic helmets with face shields to protect from blunt force trauma and biological hazards, and thigh protection gear to guard against tissue damage and the risk of a severed femoral artery.
