Law Enforcement Live Scan Fingerprint machines to effectively and effectively capture fingerprint and palm prints electronically of arrestees and/or sex offenders for criminal identification purposes.

The City of Westminster will use the JAG funds for live scan fingerprinting. It will provide for the purchase of needed equipment for capturing fingerprint and palm prints electronically.  It will enable Law Enforcement to effectively and efficiently fingerprint arrestees and/or sex offenders for criminal identification purposes and assist in identifying those suspected of committing a crime and/or linking them to unsolved crimes.
