Bowling Green Police Department & Warren County Attorney’s Office Joint Project

Overview:
The City of Bowling Green will serve as the applicant/fiscal agent for the joint funds.  Due to the disparate relationship between the two agencies, an agreement of an equal allocation of grant funds in the amount of $28,881, with $14,441 going to the City and $14,440 to the County, respectively, has been made.

Goals of Project:

The City of Bowling Green will use the funds to purchase three (3) mobile radios for police cruisers.

Warren County will use the funds to cover personnel costs associated with prosecuting cases in Warren County District Court.

Strategies:

The Bowling Green Police Department will purchase the radios from Motorola through a cooperative purchase agreement.

The Warren County prosecutor will work to prosecute cases in an efficient manner to ensure proper use of JAG funds.
