2024 JAG Law Enforcement Equipment

The disparate jurisdictions of Bannock County and Pocatello City will use JAG funds for technology improvements and equipment. The needed improvements and equipment will aid in criminal investigations and benefit public safety in the City of Pocatello and Bannock County.
The Bannock County Sheriff’s Office will utilize funds for its Toughbook Technology Program to replace outdated hardware and software. The Toughbooks are used daily to properly document crime scene investigation activities following proper discovery mandates and aid in the prosecution of criminal violations.
The City of Pocatello Police Department will utilize funds to purchase a digital evidence locker for shielding, charging, and locking cell phones and tablets; and two Point Blank level 3 shields to aid in investigations and officer safety.
