The City of Youngstown will purchase new front-line police vehicle and/or emergency vehicle equipment from the State of Ohio state contract in order to better effectively police the city. Older high mileage vehicle will be put into use by plain clothes officers/detectives.
The Mahoning County Sheriff’s Office will purchase new front-line police vehicle emergency equipment from the State of Ohio state contract in order to better effectively patrol Mahoning County.
