Hidalgo County Sheriff's Office plans to use the funds allocated to purhcase "Stop Sticks" spike strips. These spike strips would be utilized in situation involving high speed pursuits. Aiding HCSO in potentionally stopping fleeing suspects and preventing crashes or other accidents.
