2024 Edward Byrne JAG Grant Project

The Bloomington Police Department will use JAG funds to purchase new radios for Bloomington Police Department officers. This equipment will ensure the continued reliability of communication systems, maintaining officer safety and efficient coordination across the city. By updating this critical equipment, the department aims to ensure a high level of response and service to the community.

Monroe County Sheriff's Office, as subrecipient, has not yet determined the specific use for their allocation of JAG funds. A grant modification request will be submitted as required when this determination has been made.
