Burlington Community Justice Center Conflict Assistance Program

The City of Burlington’s Community Justice Center (BCJC) will use JAG funds to continue operating its Conflict Assistance Program (CAP). The CAP addresses conflict for Burlington-area residents by providing mediation, conflict coaching, and conflict skills workshops that equip persons involved in conflict with the skills necessary to find resolution through a constructive, skillful, and restorative approach. With JAG funding over the next four years, the part-time CAP coordinator will be funded to administer the CAP and expand services and training with translation services and stipends to improve access for marginalized populations.
