Farmington Police Department: High Risk Vehicle De-Escalation Implementation
In May 2022, Farmington Police Department created a call type “FLEEING NO PURSUIT” to begin tracking how many vehicles fled from officers initiating a traffic stop.  In 2023, FPD recorded 26 of these call types.  From January of 2024 through September 2024, FPD has recorded 52 of these call types.  FPD is seeking equipment specifically designed to de-escalate high-risk vehicle events and prevent unnecessary injury, property damage, loss of life and improve identification and prosecution of dangerous drivers.

San Juan County Sheriff's Office: In-Car Mobile Radio Program
In-Car Mobile Radios to maintain operational efficiency for San Juan County Sheriff’s Office deputies to communication with dispatch and other patrol units while in agency vehicles. The project objectives are to identify, select, and purchase the appropriate equipment necessary to perform the functions required.
