Laramie County Sheriff's Office duty gear and City of Cheyenne Police Department training and community policing overtime.

The disparate jurisdictions of Laramie County, Wyoming and the City of Cheyenne will use JAG funds for duty gear, training and community policing overtime.  Specifically, the Laramie County Sheriff's Office will use their JAG allocation to purchase duty gear for deputies.  The City of Cheyenne Police Department will use a small portion of their allocation for sending officers to training. The rest will be used to support community policing programs with overtime, which will have an impact beyond that of the traditional law enforcement response methods.
