Bullet-Resistant Shields Project

This project would provide bullet-resistant shields to Montgomery County law enforcement Patrol deputies who will be on scene in all districts and shifts for multiple calls like shots fired, active shooter situations, and armed subjects.  Rapid deployment of this equipment is crucial for officer and community safety.  Montgomery County officers need up-to-date equipment to serve the community safely, effectively, and efficiently.  Montgomery County is requesting a total of 18 bullet-resistant shields to be distributed throughout the six districts and to specialized units.
