The disparate jurisdictions of the City of Salinas and County of Monterey will use JAG funds for technology supplies. Specifically, Salinas will use JAG funds to purchase automated license plate reader (LPR) camera systems to enhance capabilities to prevent, investigate, and solve crimes. Monterey County will use JAG funds to purchase new laptops and associated accessories for their Patrol Field Training Officers, as well as screen protectors for the CF33 tablets installed in Patrol vehicles.
